Wow, that was a big job. I finally got my theatre picture galleries updated and working. I have created galleries for both high schools, by year. Interested? See where it says “Galleries” up in the menu? Click through to whatever gallery you’d like to see & check it out! I cherry-picked some of my favorite pictures for each show so they’re all in one place. Only took me two days.
As far as Down Syndrome Awareness Month goes, I honestly cannot think of anything to say! It’s killing me. There should be so much I could say, but I can’t think of anything important enough to write about.
Oh, wait, here’s a tidbit. Henry has decided he loves going in with me to pick up William. See, we have to go into the school office and sign the kids out & then wait for them there in the office. Needless to say, it’s crowded. I don’t like it – it’s too many people too close. Henry, on the other hand, LOVES it. As soon as we open the door, he starts shouting “HI!! HI!! Merry Christmas!! Merry Holiday!!” and waving at everyone. Addressing each person individually with a “hi!” We find a place to stand and wait and he will repeat the whole thing to those people close to us. The other day, he found much pleasure in serenading everyone with his surprisingly on-key rendition of “Good Feeling” by Flo Rida. Here it is if you’re not familiar.
He repeats that first part over and over again. “Oh, sometimes I get a good feeling, yeah. I get a feeling that I’ve never never never never had before, no no” It took me a couple of times, but I finally figured out what he was singing and he’s GOT it. The “sometimes” part is kind of hysterical because it’s lower than he can sing. But he tears it up.
And that’s my tidbit for today.Tweet
