That’s me. I cannot believe that I haven’t updated in so long. I keep thinking about it, but then I sit down and play Cityville or Pioneer Trail and then it’s midnight and I’m ruined. I’m sorry I’m a dork.

I’m going to just jump to school starting. Because I am insane and masochistic, I now have 3 children enrolled in 3 different schools. One of which is in the next town – about 20 minutes away. The best part? Steven’s school, which is in Crystal Lake begins at 7:40 & ends at 2:10. Henry’s school, which is in Woodstock, begins at 7:30 and ends at 2:00. There is no way to get from one to the other in less than 20 minutes. So this is my new routine:

Up at 6:15am: shower (sometimes), dress, get Henry up & dressed, get in the car.

6:45: Pile Steven & Henry in the car, drive to Crystal Lake, drop Steven off at about 7:20.

Drive back to Woodstock and drop Henry off at 7:45-7:55

Run back home, get William and Maggie.

Drop Maggie off before 8:15

Then I come home, pull my skin off, crawl to the corner, whimpering and cry.

This is stupid and horrible. I know I have to keep it up, because this is probably the best school for Steven, but I don’t know how I’m going to do it. Truthfully. Between the exhaustion of getting up so early and racing around for over an hour and the amount of gas this is going to use, I may have to offer my “services” up on Craigslist. Though that probably wouldn’t pay for the gas, even.

I also, for the first time ever, didn’t get 1st day of school photos of Steven or Maggie. I snuck one of Maggie as she went into her new high school, but she refused to do the traditional 1st day posing. I only got this shot by shouting something out the car window as she went up the steps.

Henry, on the other hand, lets me take whatever pictures I want as long as I don’t expect him to look at me.

SO glad to see Miss Lisa again!

Much love for Miss Lisa

I also finished Maggie’s room and her bed was delivered last week. She’s in there now and we’re slowly getting her stuff moved over, curtains hung, pictures up on the walls. As soon as that’s done, it’ll be time to start on Steven’s room. He’s so excited about it & can’t wait for that to be done. He cannot stand sharing a room with Henry – seriously, CANNOT STAND it. It’ll be really nice for him to move over there, so I’m excited to get that done for him.

Okay. I at least got something posted. Hope you September has started beautifully!
